8.00-9.30 Balance with Yin Yang Yoga

Yin Yang is all about balance of opposites. Balance is the foundation of our nature and existence. In yoga, the practice of balance goes back for thousands of years. Balance is not only a part of yoga postures, but a large part of yoga philosophy, where ‘balance’ is practised as a way of life, which can also bring peace and contentment. This lesson will help you to begin to understand balance and disbalance in your daily life. We will use NON-DUALISM to align energy, thoughts, emotions, habits and yoga postures. We will play around with small transitions that will take you from one thought/posture to another. You will learn techniques for improving balance while experiencing the benefits of balancing poses and most importantly, have fun.

About Zdenka

I am a very passionate in everything that attracts me towards development. I have learned that discipline, practice, progress and kindness bring awareness of a being in every possible way. There are just few things in life that we can't control and there are just few things that we really need. Everything else is just matter of hard work, focus and honesty. I love to motivate people in their progress and yoga brings that! I am Yogini in heart. Dedicated to serve and translate the Yoga tradition into lifestyle of all students. I intend to be a tunnel in giving what I have and still receive from my teachers. There is actually no yoga style in my experience. Yoga is a technology that helps in a personal development. I teach from and to the heart, connecting the outer yoga of posture and breath to the inner yoga of concentration and meditation. Teaching style can be described as authentic playful combination of: Yoga Sutra themes (like 8 limbs of yoga), Energy understanding (dual opposites, like space and resistance), Life questions, Static Hatha, Dynamic Vinyasa, Passive Yin, Energetic Kundalini which all are translated in a weekly or event class theme’s. There is alot that I want to share with you!

9.45-10.00 Tea Break

10.00-11.30 Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is called the Yoga of Awareness. It is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul. In Kundalini Yoga we harness the mental, physical, and nervous energies of the body and put them under the domain of the will, which is the instrument of the soul. This technology precisely and consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purifiy the blood. It brings balance to the body, mind, and soul.

"In Kundalini Yoga the most important thing is your experience. It goes right to your heart. No words can replace your experience. Your mind may accept the words or it may not, but your consciousness will not accept just words."
Yogi Bhajan

 About Denisse (Bachan Prem Kaur)

I'm Denisse Mass and give several years Hatha and Yinyoga.  Two and half years ago, I took my first lesson Kundalini and then changed my yoga path.  The combination of dynamic exercises, pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation with mantras (chanting) Kundalini yoga the most complete yoga for me.

Kundalini yoga puts you in touch with your inner silence and strength.  The kundalini energy that meets at the base of you (like a coiled snake) is sleeping excite you through postures, pranayama and meditiaties. You make the kundalini energy awake so that the energy from your base can flow through your chakras up. Kundalini yoga opens and cleans up and has immediate effect after a lesson.  I hope to meet you on the 20th.  Satnam Denisse

YogiBahjan says:  If you give your Self a chance, your Self will give you all the chances.

11.45 - 12.00 Tea - Fruit Break

12.00 - 13.00 Meditation

There is a story that goes like this:  Once upon a time, a student went to a great sage to ask about the meaning of life and how to attain the direct experience of the Highest.  He asked his question, but the sage gave no answer. He just sat there.

Again, the student asked about how to find and fulfill the Purpose of life. Again, the sage just sat there.

The student tried different words, and appealed with great emotion. The sage just sat there, as before.

Finally, the student became frustrated, and blurted out, in an angry tone, "Why don't you answer me!"

The sage smiled, and said, "I have been answering you, but you were not listening. The answer you are looking for is to be found only in Silence."

To sit in stillness and silence for even a few minutes each day is a very useful thing to do.May you find that silence which leads to Silence. Swami Jnaneshvara

13.00-14.00 Silent Lunch Break. We will provide a delicious Vegetarian Lunch

14.00 - 17.00  Thai Massage

Traditional Thai Massage has its roots in the Indian systems of Yoga and Ayurveda. It is believed to have been developed by Jivaka Kumar Baccha, the legendary founder of Thai massage. He was a physician to the Sangha, the order of Buddhist monks and nuns, at the time of the Buddha. The Thais call him Doctor Shivago and to this day honour him as “The Father of Medicine”. Around 2000 years ago Thai Massage was brought from India to Thailand along with Buddhism. Since then it has been practiced, developed and handed down through the generations. It was never seen as just massage but as a spiritual practice, and until fairly recently mostly practiced in wats, the Thai Buddhist temples. Also known by the names Nuad Boran, Yoga Therapy or Yoga for the Lazy Man, it is a combination of acupressure, asanas, stretching, palming, thumbing and gentle twisting. This helps in bringing back the balance in the body, deepens the connection between mind, body and spirit, in the giver and receiver.
